What should I bring to the diving center?
If you did not complete our online “Check-In”, you must bring all your documentation: diving license, ID or passport, medical certificate (if you have it), diving insurance (if you have it).
In any case, you should always bring your ID and/or passport to be able to identify yourself in case of inspection by the authorities, and a towel and swimsuit.
What can I see during my dives?
The waters of Mallorca are home to a number of species. Depending on the time of year, some are more present than others. Almost all year round, among others, you can find octopus, moray eels, barracudas, scorpionsfish, broadnosed pipefish, monk fish, sea bream and groupers. From late spring onwards, cuttlefish, rays, amberjacks and tuna tend to join in.
What are the dive sites like?
Most of our dive sites are located at the Capes of Formentor and Pinar that separates the Bay of Pollença from the Bay of Alcudia. The sites range from subtropical reef dives with beautiful gardens of posidonia oceanica, rock formations such as arches to underwater cliffs and caverns suitable for any diver from beginner level. Explore our dive sites.
Are there special dives: deep, caves and wrecks?
In our diving territory there are also more advanced dives for the most experienced divers. These dives include caverns and caves requiring the corresponding qualifications to explore them, if you are not yet cavern diver or cave diver you can do the training with us.
The deep dive sites include beautiful coral gardens (gorgonians) that are usually found at greater depths, but also wrecks including the famous "Andrea Ferrara" or "Ghostship" within the recreational diving limits at 38m and more in the range of technical diving (XR). If you are not yet deep diving certified you can do the training with us.
Where do we meet for the dives, how do I get to the diving center?
For all our activities we meet at the diving center at the time indicated in your booking confirmation. We recommend that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. Customers arriving late 10 minutes or more, may be denied boarding.
The diving center is located in Av. Mal Pas 1, 07400 Alcudia, Mallorca (link to Google Maps). Parking is possible on the streets near the diving centre where there is no yellow line. There is also a paid car park a 3 minutes walk away from the diving center.
Guests who do not have their own or rental car can take the bus to Alcudia and walk from there. Alternatively, taxis from Alcudia and Port d'Alcudia usually cost around €10, Playa de Muro around €15 and Puerto Pollença and Can Picafort/Son Baulo around €20.
To order a Taxi we recommend the Official «mallorcab» app.
Can I bring a passenger on the boat?
On the double dives in the morning we do not take passengers. On the single dive due to the limited number of places on the boat, we only take passengers doing an activity. You can sign up for a snorkeling excursion which is done on the same boat or for a diving experience like a «Basic Diver» or «Try Scuba» also taking place on the same boat.

No, for people without previous experience and without dive certification we have several experiences to enjoy diving. We also offer beginner courses that qualify you to join our trips for certified divers.
Can I continue training during the dives?
We have a wide range of specialty courses that we can do during our trips. From deep diving, orientation/navigation, perfect buoyancy, to an initiation into the world of caverns and technical divingWith us you will find a specialty that meets your needs.
Double Dive
Our double dive consists of two guided boat dives in Pollença Bay and usually lasts half a day. We start in the morning at 09:00. The dives are planned in small groups of usually 4/5 divers per guide (or instructor) with an appropriate depth limit according to their experience and qualifications.
These dives are usually at our dive sites inside the Bay of Pollença on the side of Cape Formentor, and around the Cape Pinar, hosting a variety of beautiful dives including subtropical reefs, rock formations, caverns, tunnels and, of course, the typical diverse fauna of the Mediterranean.
Before arriving at the diving center we check the documentation of all participants, so that when you arrive at the diving center, you only need to set up your equipment and enjoy the most beautiful dive sites that the north of Mallorca has to offer. For those who do not have their own equipment, we have modern, high-quality rental equipment manufactured by our official partner MARES.
Just a few minutes from the diving center in the Bonaire Marina (Puerto Cocodrilo) is our dive boat. The fast boat has 225hp and lets us fly over the water towards our dive sites.
After the first dive, we take a break on the surface during which the onboard staff offers water and cookies to recharge our batteries before the second dive. This dive is carried out in a different dive site than the first one, after sailing to it and changing tanks. After the dive, around midday we arrive back at our home port.
At the diving center we have a wet zone and showers where you can wash your own or rented equipment and rinse with fresh water. Finally, you can sit in our relaxation area and log your dives.
One dive
In the afternoons at 14:30 and/or 16:15 we meet to go out for a guided boat dive. Occasionally it is possible to do two boat dive in the afternoon as well. In total it usually lasts between two and three hours depending on the dive site chosen. Those are mainly found on the inside of Cape Formentor and around the Cape Pinar. We usually dive in small groups of 4/5 divers per guide or instructor, reaching maximum depths according to qualifications and experience.

Andrea Ferrara «The Ghost Ship»
An exception is our famous wreck «Andrea Ferrara» or «ghost ship» which is located at 38m, to join the dives of the "Andrea Ferrara" you must have previously dived with us regardless of the qualification you have.
Contact us directly to book your dive at this beautiful dive site.
We check your documents required for diving prior to your arrival at the diving centre. Once all the paperwork is done, all you need to do is set up your own equipment or the equipment you rented from us, porvided by our partner MARES, and enjoy the wonderful waters of the Bay of Pollença.
From our port, the Bonaire Marina (or Puerto Cocodrilo), you can board our fast, diving-friendly boat. You will reach the dive site in about 10 to 15 minutes. Our dives are usually planned for 45 to 50 minutes and for your well-being we provide water and cookies on board.
When you get back to the diving center, all that's left to do is wash your equipment, take a shower and record your dives in the dive log while sitting in our chill area.
«Refresher» Pack
For those who have not dived for a while, or have just finished the entry-level course (Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, CMAS/FEDAS/VDST*, or similar) we offer a unique activity that combines a short theoretical and practical refresher with a fun dive. Our “Refresh” takes half a day and takes place mainly in the afternoons at 14:30.
In the theoretical part we briefly review the basic rules of diving and the characteristics and effects of the underwater world on our body. In the second part we do a refresher dive, usually in confined waters, to review key skills. These include regulator recovery, mask clearing, buoyancy management and air sharing.

Not comfortable with your buoyancy?
Join our course: perfect buoyancy! You will learn the techniques that in the long run help you improve this key skill, which additionally cannot only reduce your gas consumption, but also improve your overall comfort under water.
Both dives are conducted from our dive boat with adequate surface interval between the two dives. We recommend the “Refresh” for those divers who:
- Have not been diving for a year or more, having less than 20 dives in total.
- Have not dived for two years or more, having less than 100 dives in total.
- have finished their entry-level course more than 6 months ago and have not dived since.

Turn your “Refresh” into an experience for the whole family!
Our “Refresh” trips are often combined with our snorkeling trips and Basic Diver. Therefore, it is ideal for bringing your family. The little ones can join the snorkeling excursion and those who are curious about diving can join the Basic Diver experience.
