Snorkeling Excursions
Excursión de Snorkel
- Boat trip to a snorkeling spot
- Rental equipment
- Guide
- Water and cookies on board
You will embark with one of our guides to explore the crystal clear waters of the Bay of Pollença. When you arrive at our facilities you have the possibility to put on a free rental wetsuit that protects you from the sun and also provides a little buoyancy. The most important piece of equipment is the high quality mask from our diving equipment manufacturer MARES. Your guide will help you choose the mask that best fits your face to ensure maximum comfort during your excursion.
Once equipped, we go to our boat, which has a shaded area at the bow where you can stand and an area at the stern to get equipped. After a briefing where the guide will check the operation of the equipment and explain the route, you are ready to cool off in the blue. You can jump off the boat or use the diving ladder to enter comfortably.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the requirements to join snorkeling?
Anyone who is a good swimmer and is physically able to spend at least 30 minutes per snorkeling spot in the water can join our snorkeling trips.
Where do we meet for snorkelling trips? How do I get to the diving centre?
For all our activities we meet at the diving center at the time indicated in your booking confirmation. The diving center is located at Av. Mal Pas 1, 07400 Alcudia, Mallorca (link to Google Maps). Parking is possible on the streets near the diving centre where there is no yellow line. There is also a paid car park 3 minutes walk from the centre. Guests who do not have their own or rental car can take the bus to Alcudia and walk from there. Taxis from Alcudia and Port d'Alcudia usually cost around €10, Playa de Muro around €15 and Puerto Pollença and Can Picafort/Son Baulo around €20.
To order a taxi we recommend the official application «mallorcab».
What do I have to study?
At the start of the course, we will send you the digital teaching material from our SSI certifying agency. You will have to study the material at home. We will then review the materials in person to resolve any doubts and deepen the knowledge acquired.
Can I bring a passenger on the boat?
Adults can stay on the boat for the entire trip. There will always be a skipper on board. Due to legal limitations on the number of passengers on the boat, the passenger would have to purchase a snorkelling ticket as well.
Can I snorkel without knowing how to swim?
No, all participants must know how to swim and be comfortable in the water.
How many people go with a guide?
We usually take between 4 and 6 people per guide, with a maximum of 10 people.
For about 50 minutes per place you will be able to see the different marine species that the Mediterranean Sea offers us. Among them —————-, octopuses, cuttlefish, barracudas and moray eels. None of the species is dangerous to humans, therefore it is a very safe excursion and also suitable for children who are very comfortable in the water and good swimmers.

Do you want to go a little further?
If this is the case, we recommend that you start your diving adventure with the Basic Diver, an experience program designed to give you a taste of scuba diving. It takes place at the same time and on the same boat as the Double Snorkel, so it is perfect for families or groups to combine different activities.
