With its crystal clear waters, cliffs, caverns, caves, and amazing underwater life, Mallorca is one of the best places to dive in the Mediterranean. The Scubaneo center, located in the north of the island, mainly operates the Bay of Pollença between the Cape Formentor and the Cape Pinar with parts of the Bay of Alcudia, which offers us more than 20 diving spots waiting to be explored.

Dive time
Our dives are planned with a maximum time of 45 – 50 minutes.

Depth
Most of our dive sites you can dive at different depths, with our small groups we can ensure that the maximum depth is adapted to you.

Boat diving
Our dives are carried out from our fast boat prepared to carry up to 9 divers with two guides.

Certified staff
All our underwater personnel are SSI professionals and our skippers hold merchant marine qualifications.

Double Dive

Our double dive consists of two guided boat dives in Pollença Bay and usually lasts half a day. We start in the morning at 09:00. The dives are planned in small groups of usually 4/5 divers per guide (or instructor) with an appropriate depth limit according to their experience and qualifications.
These dives are usually at our dive sites inside the Bay of Pollença on the side of Cape Formentor, and around the Cape Pinar, hosting a variety of beautiful dives including subtropical reefs, rock formations, caverns, tunnels and, of course, the typical diverse fauna of the Mediterranean.

Before arriving at the diving center we check the documentation of all participants, so that when you arrive at the diving center, you only need to set up your equipment and enjoy the most beautiful dive sites that the north of Mallorca has to offer. For those who do not have their own equipment, we have modern, high-quality rental equipment manufactured by our official partner MARES.

Just a few minutes from the diving center in the Bonaire Marina (Puerto Cocodrilo) is our dive boat. The fast boat has 225hp and lets us fly over the water towards our dive sites.
After the first dive, we take a break on the surface during which the onboard staff offers water and cookies to recharge our batteries before the second dive. This dive is carried out in a different dive site than the first one, after sailing to it and changing tanks. After the dive, around midday we arrive back at our home port.
At the diving center we have a wet zone and showers where you can wash your own or rented equipment and rinse with fresh water. Finally, you can sit in our relaxation area and log your dives.

One dive

In the afternoons at 14:30 and/or 16:15 we meet to go out for a guided boat dive. Occasionally it is possible to do two boat dive in the afternoon as well. In total it usually lasts between two and three hours depending on the dive site chosen. Those are mainly found on the inside of Cape Formentor and around the Cape Pinar. We usually dive in small groups of 4/5 divers per guide or instructor, reaching maximum depths according to qualifications and experience.

We check your documents required for diving prior to your arrival at the diving centre. Once all the paperwork is done, all you need to do is set up your own equipment or the equipment you rented from us, porvided by our partner MARES, and enjoy the wonderful waters of the Bay of Pollença.

From our port, the Bonaire Marina (or Puerto Cocodrilo), you can board our fast, diving-friendly boat. You will reach the dive site in about 10 to 15 minutes. Our dives are usually planned for 45 to 50 minutes and for your well-being we provide water and cookies on board.
When you get back to the diving center, all that's left to do is wash your equipment, take a shower and record your dives in the dive log while sitting in our chill area.

«Refresher» Pack

For those who have not dived for a while, or have just finished the entry-level course (Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, CMAS/FEDAS/VDST*, or similar) we offer a unique activity that combines a short theoretical and practical refresher with a fun dive. Our “Refresh” takes half a day and takes place mainly in the afternoons at 14:30.

In the theoretical part we briefly review the basic rules of diving and the characteristics and effects of the underwater world on our body. In the second part we do a refresher dive, usually in confined waters, to review key skills. These include regulator recovery, mask clearing, buoyancy management and air sharing.

Both dives are conducted from our dive boat with adequate surface interval between the two dives. We recommend the “Refresh” for those divers who:

  • Have not been diving for a year or more, having less than 20 dives in total.
  • Have not dived for two years or more, having less than 100 dives in total.
  • have finished their entry-level course more than 6 months ago and have not dived since.
