Dip & Dive is designed for those who want total freedom. Enjoy a self-guided snorkeling session exploring the surface at your own pace, and when you're ready, dive into your first Bautismo de Buceo (Try Scuba)experience. Guided by a certified SSI Instructor, you will enjoy a 5 to 10-minute personalized try dive (one-on-one) to experience the incredible sensation of breathing underwater for the very first time.

When completing your Dip & Dive, you may recieve (optional) the digital SSI Try Scubarecognition card. Your official recognition for your first breaths underwater will be available in your SSI profile
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do I need previous experience in scuba diving or snorkeling?
Not at all! Dip & Dive is specifically designed for beginners. The snorkeling is self-guided (on the surface) and the dive is a personalized, 'one-on-one' try dive where your SSI instructor takes care of all the equipment and your safety.
Is it safe, if it's my first time?
It is completely safe. You will be under the direct supervision of a certified SSI instructor at all times. Additionally, the dive is short in duration and stays at a shallow depth, making it the perfect, no-pressure introduction to the underwater world.
What's the minimum age to participate?
The minimum age to participate in the Try Scuba diving experience during our Dip & Dive is 8 years old. It is the perfect activity for families looking for a gentle adventure at sea.
May I participate, if I have any health issues?
As with any diving activity, you will need to complete a brief standard medical questionnaire (RSTC Medical Statement). If you have respiratory issues, serious heart conditions, or are pregnant, we recommend consulting with us before booking.
What do I need to bring to the diving center?
You must bring: your ID card or passport for identification in case of inspection by the authorities, as well as a towel and swimwear.
What can I see during my dives?
The waters of Mallorca are home to a number of species. Depending on the time of year, some are more present than others. Almost all year round, among others, you can find octopus, moray eels, barracudas, scorpionsfish, broadnosed pipefish, monk fish, sea bream and groupers. From late spring onwards, cuttlefish, rays, amberjacks and tuna tend to join in.
Where do we meet for the dives, how do I get to the diving center?
We meet at the diving center, which is located at Av. Mal Pas 1, 07400 Alcudia, Mallorca (link to Google Maps).

To continue your diving journey after the Dip & Dive Try Scuba, you can enjoy special discounts over the next 6 months toward our entry-level diving courses..
