Snorkeling Excursions
Snorkel excursion
- Boat trip to one snorkeling spot
- Rental equipment
- Guide
- Water and cookies on board
You will embark with one of our guides to explore the crystal clear waters of the Bay of Pollensa. When you arrive at our facilities you have the possibility to put on a free rental wetsuit that protects you from the sun and also provides a little buoyancy. The most important piece of equipment is the high quality mask from our diving equipment manufacturer MARES. Your guide will help you choose the mask that best fits your face to ensure maximum comfort during your excursion.
Once equipped, we go to our boat, which has a shaded area at the bow where you can relax and an area at the stern to get equipped. After a briefing where the guide will introduce you to the equipment and explain the route, you are ready to cool off in the blue. You can jump off the boat or use the diving ladder to enter comfortably.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the requirements to join snorkeling?
Anyone who is a good swimmer and is physically able to spend at least 30 minutes per snorkeling spot in the water can join our snorkeling trips.
Where are we meeting for the activity and how do I get to the dive center?
For all our activities we meet at the diving center at the time indicated in your booking confirmation. We recommend that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. Customers arriving late 10 minutes or more, may be denied boarding.
The diving center is located at Av. Mal Pas 1, 07400 Alcudia, Mallorca (link to Google Maps). Parking is possible on the streets near the diving centre where there is no yellow line. There is also a paid car park a 3 minutes walk away from the diving center.
Guests who do not have their own or rental car can take the bus to the "Mal Pas" bus stop, which is only a few meters away from the diving center. The bus stop is only available from May to October; outside these dates you can go to Alcudia and walk from there. Alternatively, taxis from Alcudia and Port d'Alcudia usually cost around €10, Playa de Muro around €15 and Puerto Pollensa and Can Picafort/Son Baulo around €20.
To request a taxi, we recommend the Official «mallorcab» app.
Can I bring a passenger on the boat?
Adults can stay on the boat for the entire trip. There will always be a skipper on board. Due to legal limitations on the number of passengers on the boat, the passenger would have to purchase a snorkelling ticket as well.
Can I snorkel without knowing how to swim?
No, all participants must know how to swim and be comfortable in the water.
How many people go with a guide?
We usually take between 4 and 6 people per guide, with a maximum of 10 people.
For about 50 minutes per site, you’ll have the opportunity to observe various marine species the Mediterranean Sea offers, including wrasse, octopuses, cuttlefish, barracudas, and moray eels. None of these species pose a danger to humans, making this a very safe activity, also suitable for children who are comfortable in the water and good swimmers.

Would you like to go a bit further?
If this is the case, we recommend that you start your diving adventure with the Basic Diver, an experience program designed to give you a taste of scuba diving. It takes place at the same time and on the same boat as the Double Snorkel, so it is perfect for families or groups to combine different activities.
